Customization Guide

Overview

Loki Studio's customization system lets you create unique configurations for different games, series, or channels. Each profile can have its own thumbnail style, AI personality, upload settings, and more.

Video Profiles

Profiles organize your content by game, series, or channel type. Each profile is a self-contained configuration.

Creating a Profile

1. Go to Profile Settings (Norns tab)
2. Click Add New Config
3. Enter a profile name (e.g., "X4 Foundations Playthrough")
4. The new profile appears in the list

Profile Components

Each profile contains:

• Video Folder: Where video files are stored
• Thumbnail Settings: Colors, fonts, logo, flair
• YouTube Settings: Playlist, schedule, category
• AI Personality: Associated content style

Managing Profiles

• Duplicate: Clone an existing profile as a starting point
• Delete: Remove a profile (videos are not affected)
• Refresh: Reload the profile list

AI Personalities

AI Personalities control the tone, style, and voice of generated metadata. Pro users have access to 23+ built-in personalities.

Built-in Personalities

Loki Studio includes personalities for common content types:

Selecting a Personality

1. Go to the Metadata tab
2. Use the AI Personality dropdown at the top
3. Select the personality that matches your content
4. Generate metadata - it will use that personality's style

Personality Settings

Fine-tune personality behavior with these options:

• AI Humanizer: Normal, More Human, Less Human
• No Emojis: Disable emoji generation
• 1st Person: Generate in first person perspective

Thumbnail Customization

Each profile can have unique thumbnail styling. Configure in Profile Settings.

Text Styling

• Title Color: Main text color (click to pick)
• Subtitle Color: Secondary text color
• Outline Color: Text outline/stroke color
• Font: Any installed system font
• Title Font Scale: Size multiplier (default: 4.0)
• Subtitle Font Scale: Size multiplier (default: 3.0)

Logo Settings

• Logo Max Size: Maximum dimension in pixels
• Logo Position: top-right, top-left, bottom-right, bottom-left, center

Place your logo file in the profile folder as logo.png.

Flair Settings

Flair images are decorative overlays like game logos or badges:

• Use Flair: Enable/disable
• Flair File: Path to image file
• Flair Position: Where to place it
• Flair Max Size: Maximum dimension

Frame Selection

• Timestamp Range: Min/Max seconds to search for frames
• Frame Selection: Random (Fast) or Brightest
• Brightness Interval: Frames to skip when finding brightest

Example: Gaming Channel Setup

YouTube Upload Settings

Configure per-profile YouTube settings for automated uploading.

Playlist Configuration

• Playlist Name: Default playlist for this profile's videos

Scheduling

• Days Between Uploads: Interval between scheduled videos
• Release Time: Default publish time (HH:MM)

Video Settings

• Privacy Status: public, unlisted, or private
• Made for Kids: COPPA compliance setting
• YouTube Category: Gaming, Education, Entertainment, etc.

Description Templates

• Description Header: Text added to the beginning of every description
• Description Footer: Text added to the end of every description

Use these for consistent branding:

Default Settings

Configure defaults that apply to all new profiles.

Setting Defaults

1. Go to Profile Settings > Default Settings tab
2. Configure your preferred default values
3. Click Save Defaults

Apply to All Profiles

To update existing profiles with new defaults:

1. Configure your defaults
2. Click Apply to All Existing
3. All profiles will be updated (preserving unique values)

Starter Profiles

Loki Studio includes starter profiles to help you get started:

• Cooking: Recipe and cooking video template
• Documentary: Educational documentary style
• Gamer: General gaming content
• Industry Commentator: News and analysis
• Test Generic: Neutral all-purpose template

Duplicate and customize these for your own content.

Workflow Tips

Multi-Channel Setup

If you run multiple YouTube channels:

1. Create a profile for each channel
2. Use different thumbnail colors/fonts per channel
3. Set channel-specific playlists
4. Use different AI personalities for different content styles

Series Consistency

For video series (e.g., game playthrough):

1. Create one profile for the series
2. Set consistent thumbnail styling
3. Use the same AI personality
4. Configure description header/footer for series branding

A/B Testing Thumbnails

To test different thumbnail styles:

1. Duplicate your profile
2. Change colors/fonts in the duplicate
3. Generate thumbnails with both profiles
4. Compare results and choose a winner
